Lost 11 Meter band on Yaeu.

Post by Guest on Fri Nov 02, 2007 11:09 am

OMG , what a plumb I am , I switched on with wrong buttons to the 857D when I had been " seeing what something does " and made a muck up of a menu.

I then read how to re-set it, but when I switched on found that I had re-set it to factory settings without the 11 Meter band what a huge plumb I am lmao Mad Mad

I have to send it back to place I bought it from for them to do the "soft jump" again as is under warrenty still.

But do I feel such an ideot ?

Lmao, thats true, I must admit, though, I got a bit too cockie and thought I new the lot !

My amateur mates offered to help but I knew the lot.

I have been teased merciously about it since, lol, like when I go the loo at the pub shouts of " dont re-set it " and the like Sad lmao Very Happy

GOOD NEWS.

I have a note saying that rig will be back within a few days, so I am a bit happier.

But to be honest, you dont even ned to use of the settings I was buggering about withm, I was just trying to be a clever arse lol Very Happy

But my amateur mates will take a lifetime to forget this one !
