eQSL is a way that allows you to send & recive QSL's via the internet for free.
Or pay & get a better service.

e-QSL

Post by daxi on Wed Jan 16, 2008 12:22 am

First sorry if this is a repeat, but I have had a look & a search & I cannot find it.
So.........
Even if you like the traditional card QSL this is worth joining simply because it will cost you nothing & you may also get the odd QSL from someone that you would not have done so from other wise.
I find some of the Eastern European hams like this & that they will at times send a card via e-QSL if it was requested or not (& I'm not interested in QSL'ing so don't.) Plus they often send them the same day.

eQSL.cc is the first and only global electronic QSL card exchange for amateur radio operators and SWLs. It is designed to be the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to exchange QSO confirmations, eliminating the cost and time that regular QSL cards have required for the past half century.

Got to admit am not a fan of the eqsl idea. Still am old fashioned and like to head to the box and see the real deal sat there to get my hands on.

The cards from ZD9,8,7 were more special with the stamps and all, more than a e one. Thats just my own private thoughts

e-qsl's good point is when you switch on the PC & find you have a totally unexpected QSL in the box & from someone you only spoke to about a couple of hours ago.
